Baseball Card Template

Baseball card templates are a totally new concept in baseball card technology. It is where humanity turns the lens back onto itself instead of on Mother Nature. Throughout the ages men have focused on everything in the universe except themselves. Now for the first time the object is man in all his potential. And that has brought about a very human and humane era in mankind’s journey.

In the early days (or the good old days) there was much chagrin concerning the printing process whereby a batch of baseball cards got created. It was quite a complicated procedure. The slightest accident in ink distribution and the least machinery fault would lead to gross disruption of the resultant image(s). Care was obviously better than cure. Who had the time to correct a misprint error? It was no easy task.

But with the arrival of electronic machines, especially computers, the images could be manipulated infinitely on screen and the word “graphic designer” took on new meaning. The computer revolution caused a breakthrough in virtually every area of life. Now for the first time in history the imagination of mankind could meld with the ingenuity of machines to come up with randomly beautiful pictures of both reality and fantasy. One use of graphic designing was to make baseball cards. It was a fantastically radical pursuit.

Baseball cards were basically a feature of the 50s and 60s when they were even jammed inside bicycle wheels by rambunctious kids. They were found in tobacco tins and along with bubble gum wrappers. Kids would use them to the point of no return where the cards were shredded remnants of the original. What were left were tattered, torn cards that had been damaged beyond recognition. But with the coming of the 80s and 90s these cards took on a new look. They had more sheen and finish. Now no one could even think of putting a baseball card close to the spokes of his BMX Bike. It was unthinkable. Collections that were closely guarded became the norm. Even kids stashed away their baseball card collections and jealously showed them to their best friends.

Computers led to the manufacturing of personalized versions of baseball cards. Anyone with half a brain could quite easily stick his or her photograph onto a baseball card template. This was a fun thing to do. The choices available include a baseball card power point template and a blank baseball card template. You are free to select from either one.
