If you were to look at baseball stadium pictures you will see a large round oval like the Super Bowl or an amphitheater. This contains seats at the edges or at one side in case of an amphitheater. The green Astro Turf field is laid out in relief in the middle. There is a white chalked diamond pattern on this. Bases are made of rubber and the outfield has a markedly different color from the infield.

They try to figure out a way to enclose space within the confines of seats and walls. It is difficult to build a stadium as any architect will tell you. But that does not mean that it cannot be done.
