College World Series

Baseball has its ups and its downs. There are games played for the sake of play alone. And there are games played for profit. But baseball college world series is a game that has both motives in it. It is a game of wits and wiry framed kids who go on to make those world famous home runs. The ball shoots up into the clear blue sky and almost penetrates the clouds. It’s a beautiful sight to watch indeed.

If you look at its history the 1966 college world series ring is where the whole shebang got started. Now we’re talking about solid professionals here. These were men meant to be men. They sure beat the odds against them and rose to fame, power and glory. And the year was a memorable one too.

Moving on almost 30 odd years into the future we find ourselves face to face with the 1995 college world series which went with a bang, crackle and fizz. It was the sight of stateliness when these new players fought like champs and brought home the trophy. Boy oh boy what a wonderful thing it was to win this match for baseball players who were still in college.

Then came the 2002 college world series which went kind of okay. But it was not to last. The 2005 college world series was a flop and a sham. It proved that even the great ones can lose at their own game. After all the greatest individuals have fought the world not only on its ground but on their own ground as well. But here we have a team of rotten players who lost everything in the twitch of an eye. These scoundrels made girls look like better players. It was a sad affair and one that left the world bereft of some of its best college baseball players.

As for the 2006 college world series well it was slightly up to par. There were more rules and the players got what they wanted although at a price. It was almost a tie at the end. The 2006 junior college world series was similarly dismal and never got off to a good start. Seems baseball was meant to stay in the doldrums and suffer neglect due to the poor performance of these college players. But just when things had reached the end of the rainbow there was a pot of gold waiting to be explored.

The 2007 college world series was a resounding success as the players had been well groomed and made into fit sportsmen with the spirit of sportsmanship instilled in them.

Seeing the differences since the first college world series it is a wonder to gaze at the progress and regress. The return of progress at the end where the players learnt from their mistakes was phenomenal. College world series records have proved that it can be done. And that is why so many college world series tickets are sold every year…because people want to watch the game of winners (and not losers!)

The ncaa college world series is another arena where this tussle takes place. College world series baseball scores of this league are not far behind the original that has been going on since 1966. It’s a competition to the finish!
